The team at Blueline Publicity has been bringing success to authors across the country since 1999. Inspired by our passion for literature and grounded in experience and an effective network of national resources, Blueline Publicity's literary marketing services deliver results.
"I really appreciate your help in marketing my book. You were very helpful in explaining all the options, drafting documents, and aggressively following up with reviewers. I don't see how a novice like me could get along without you."

JOHN KIMBALL, The Maritime History of Marblehead, 1815-1865
About Blueline Publicity

Deidre Randall started Blueline Publicity to bring success to small press authors and publishers across the country. Inspired by a passion for books, and grounded in both publishing and marketing experience, Randall's team works to support and promote small press authors with high-quality titles. Distribution coordination and support is also offered, which sets Blueline apart from other book publicity firms. Randall believes that it's crucial to have books available in stores, when publicity hits, so her clients are able to make actual sales that connect to "media hits" their book has received. Blueline Publicity's full service book marketing program delivers results.
Savvy Media Contacts

The Blueline media team utilizes an effective network of national resources. Deidre and her media specialists maintain strong personal contacts with print, Internet, and broadcast media. Working together, authors and publicists create media lists, and then leverage contacts, both new and existing, to gain the optimum exposure for each title.

Authors appear as guests on such broadcast programs as NH Public Radio's "The Front Porch", NHPTV's "NH Outlook", and on WMUR-TV's "NH Chronicle". Book reviews appear in such trade publications as The Washington Post, Library Journal, CHOICE, The New Yorker, and the Boston Globe, while working with Blueline.
Creative Author Branding

Gorgeous, eye-catching design is a hallmark of the collaterals produced by the Blueline Publicity designers. Blueline offers author websites, press kits, postcards, bookmarks, sales flyers, and NEW in 2007, video book-trailers! Materials are created to extend and fulfill a unique author brand or image. This is often drawn from the book cover image, or based upon author preferences expressed in the planning stages.
Principal Publicist

Deidre Randall, principal publicist of Blueline Publicity, provides a full array of marketing services for authors, book packagers and publishers. Authors work directly with Deidre to plan, guide, and create success for their title. Her services include book marketing consultation, media promotion, author branding, and book distribution liaison services. Blueline services work for single title publishing houses, or those with longer lists. Randall is currently working with four different publishers; Peter E. Randall Publisher, Philograph, JME Insights, and Lafayette Press. Deidre has arranged for effective book distribution and sales both nationally and internationally for appropriate titles. She currently works with two different distributors; Biblio Distribution/NBN, and Enfield Distribution.
Deidre creates effective marketing and sales strategies through partnering with authors and groups, to identify and reach specific, targeted markets. She utilizes a number of low cost, or no-cost, promotion and sales strategies whenever possible. These include, but are not limited to, direct mail, special events, print media, internet, and radio and television promotion.
After receiving a M.Ed. in Business Administration from Antioch New England Graduate School in 1999 Deidre gave thirteen years of direct service to literacy programs; grant preparation, teaching, college instruction and project coordination. She is a publishing partner at Peter E. Randall Publisher. Since 1999 Randall has consulted with upwards of 175 authors and directly promoted more than 85 titles. Blueline Publicity began providing direct service to authors in 2003. An award-winning songwriter and one of twelve poets who received a nomination for Poet Laureate of Portsmouth in 2003, Deidre has been an avid reader and book lover for as long as she can remember. She is a mother and values time with her children and extended family.
